Shorewood Police Nab Alleged 3-Time Drunken Driver

A Milwaukee man has been charged after Shorewood police arrested him for operating while intoxicated in late May.

A Milwaukee man has been arrested and charged for his third drunken driving offense.

Jason Trostorff, 32, was charged July 11 with operating while intoxicated third offense, and operating with prohibited alcohol content.

According to a Shorewood police narrative, Trostorff was stopped for speeding in the 1700 block of East Newton Avenue on May 29 around 1:15 a.m.

There, police conducted on-scene sobriety tests, which Trostorff failed.

Police say he smelled of alcohol and admitted to drinking before getting behind the wheel, the report says.

Police are awaiting the results of a blood test to determine his blood alcohol content at the time of the arrest.

Trostorff is due in court Aug. 16.
