Shorewood Police Investigating Report of Sexual Assault
Shorewood woman says last month she awoke to a friend on her apartment door, and later was sexually assaulted.
Police are investigating the alleged sexual assault of a Shorewood woman.
According to police, the victim reported on March 31 at 10:02 p.m. she awoke to a co-worker/friend knocking on the door of her apartment in the 3600 block of North Wilson Drive.
The co-worker was invited in and after talking for 30 minutes they had sex. The woman reported the sexual assault a week later, police say.
