On Jan. 28, Lemire was driving his Ford Mustang in the 3500 block of North Oakland Avenue when he hit a car parked on the side of the street. Lemire fled the scene of the accident by driving on the sidewalk. The owner of the car said the accident pushed his car 20 feet.
However, Lemire’s front bumper fell off during the accident with the license plate attached and police were able to track him down at his home.

Lemire later admitted to the hit and run. He had a blood alcohol level of 0.195, which is more than three twice the legal limit to drive in Wisconsin.
Lemire was previously convicted of OWI in 2008. He will make his initial appearance in court April 2.
