A 50-year-old Shorewood man is facing felony charges after tried to meet with what he thought was a teenage for sex, during a Milwaukee police undercover sting.

According to the criminal complaint, on Oct. 20, James P. Brown began a conversation with a undercover police officer while using an online chat room. He began to flirt with the officer, who told Brown he was 15 years old.

Brown initially told him his profile was misleading between what he said was his age and his actual age, but then said youth didn’t bother him and the two continued to chat.
