Police Report: Police Make Drunken Driving Arrest Friday

A roundup of the latest from the Shorewood police reports.

Police arrested a 24-year-old Shorewood man for operating while intoxicated just before midnight Friday after making a traffic stop for speeding.

The man, pulled over in the 3700 block of North Lake Drive, smelled of alcohol and slurred his speech when an officer approached him, according to the report. He failed a sobriety test, and refused a breathalyzer test on the scene.

It is the man’s first such offense.
