Police Report: Man Walks into Police Station with Drug Paraphernalia

A roundup of the latest from the Shorewood police reports.

A Shorewood teenager was arrested Tuesday for battery after he punched a man in the face near the intersection of North Wilson Drive and East Capitol Drive.

Police say the victim approached the teen saying derogatory things, because the teen looked like someone he knew. Turns out, the man didn’t know the teen and they got into a verbal argument.

The man told the teenager, if he wanted to fight, he would have to throw the first punch β€” and he did, cutting the victim's lip in the process, according to police.
