Police Report: Concerned Mom Phones Police to Report Drug Dealers Harassing Her Daughter

A roundup of the latest from the Shorewood police reports.

A concerned mother called police Monday saying her 20-year-old daughter had called her four times asking for money because drug dealers were at her Shorewood home demanding cash.

Police ran the daughter’s information after arriving at her home in the 8000 of East Kensington Boulevard, revealing a warrant for her arrest for violating probation. She was transported to Milwaukee County Jail.

Police say there were no drug dealers on the scene when they arrived.

Also in the police report:

  • Police were called to an apartment in the 3900 block of North Oakland Avenue Monday after receiving a report of an unknown substance near an elevator causing property damage. It’s not an isolated incident, as police have been phoned several times recently for the substance. However, police believe the substance to be dog urine.
  • Police are investigating a teenager’s claim that another teenager sent him vulgar telephone messages Tuesday and later the same day struck him in the back with a stick.
  • A police officer Tuesday observed graffiti sprayed on the stone bridge in the exit tunnel near the Hubbard Park turnaround. Police estimate the damage at $200.
  • The word “SEAR” was reported painted on an intake vent on the roof of a building in the 1800 block of East Capitol Drive, Wednesday. The damage is estimated at $300.
