Milwaukee Man Facing Charge for Felony Possession of Firearm

Darroll Fowler, 35-year-old Milwaukee man, was charged Friday after Shorewood police found allegedly him with a loaded revolver and marijuana.

A Milwaukee man was charged in Milwaukee County Circuit Court on Friday with possession of a fireman by a felon after Shorewood police found him with a loaded revolver.

In addition to a Rohm 38-caliber special revolver with a cocked hammer and loaded with five rounds, Darroll Fowler, 35, of 4172 N. 15th St. was in possession of six small baggies of marijuana police believe he intended to sell. He won’t be charged with possession of marijuana, however, as it is a lesser charge than felony possession of a firearm police say.

Police stopped Fowler as he was driving his GMC Yukon in the 800 block of East Capitol Drive Tuesday without headlights on according to the criminal complaint. Police smelled marijuana after pulling Fowler over and following a search found the six bags and loaded weapon.
