Milwaukee Man Arrested for Possession of Synthetic Marijuana

Police found a jar of K2 and another eight which had contained K2 during a traffic stop Sunday.

A 21-year-old Milwaukee man was arrested Sunday after Shorewood police pulled him over near the intersection of East Capitol Drive and North Oakland Avenue and observed a jar of synthetic marijuana, also known as K2, in the center console.

After police initially pulled the man over for making a right turn on a red light, they noticed the smell of burnt marijuana coming from the car and saw the clear plastic jar with 0.7 grams of K2. Police would also find another eight plastic jars in the car, which had contained K2 and a pipe used to smoke marijuana.

The man admitted it was K2 on the scene, according to the report. He was also issued a couple of traffic tickets.
