Marijuana Seized in Estabrook Park

The latest Shorewood police reports also include the theft of baby formula and liquor from Pick 'n Save.

Two drug-related arrests were made in Shorewood this week.

Shorewood police seized 2.5 grams of marijuana and marijuana paraphernalia from a car in Estabrook Park at 12:57 a.m. on June 2. The officer approached the vehicle because it was in the park after hours. After getting closer to the vehicle,  the officer detected the odor of fresh marijuana emanating from the vehicle.

Shorewood police were called to Camp Bar at 1:43 a.m. on June 1 because a Milwaukee man was using and attempting to share illegal drugs. It turns out the cocaine he was trying to sell was actually crushed ibuprofen. He was arrested and tested negative for drugs.

Moped, mountain bike stolen

  • A moped was removed from the rear of a house in the 4000 block of Morris Boulevard sometime between 3 p.m. May 27 and 3:30 p.m. May 28.
  • A red Schwinn mountain bike was stolen sometime last week from a garage in the 3500 block of Cramer Street.
  • A car window was smashed in the 4000 block of Larkin Street earlier this week. The vandalism was reported at 10:23 a.m. on June 2.     

Liquor, baby formula stolen from Pick 'n Save

  • A man stole 16 cans of Gerber brand formula from Pick ‘n Save around 4:40 p.m. on May 29. 
  • A juvenile stole two bottles of liquor from Pick ‘n Save at 10:07 p.m. on May 28. He was later taken into custody and cited with retail theft.
