Crime Time: OWI, Possession of Drug Paraphernalia

A roundup of the latest from the Shorewood police reports.

A 29-year-old Whitefish Bay woman was arrested Friday for operating while intoxicated in the 4000 block of North Richard Street. The woman was initially pulled over by police for swerving and stopping in the middle of the road. Police say she had glassy eyes and slurred speech. The woman failed a sobriety test but police said they are still waiting on the blood alcohol content information from a blood draw.

Also in the police report:

  • A 29-year-old Milwaukee man was arrested Saturday after police found him passed out, highly intoxicated and in possession a glass pipe police say is used to smoke marijuana. Police say they found him in the woman’s bathroom at Shorewood’s , 1513 E. Capitol Dr., and he had a .15 blood alcohol content.
  • A 28-year-old Shorewood man was cited for disorderly conduct after he beat a Whitefish Bay man who is an employee at Shorewood’s American Legion Post, 4121 N. Wilson Dr. He was removed from the scene before police arrived, but was mailed a citation. This is the third time he has been cited for disorderly conduct police say.
  • A $300 black Trek bicycle was reported stolen from , 1701 E. Capitol Dr., Friday. Police say the bicycle was locked.
