Crime Time: Drug Offense; Boy Runs from Police

A roundup of the latest from the Shorewood police reports.

A student was arrested Friday for possession of drug paraphernalia after police found a multi-colored glass pipe in his vehicle, while it was parked in the high school's parking lot, 1701 E. Capitol Dr.

Police say the high school assistant principal was investigating a unrelated matter in the parking lot when he noticed the pipe in plain view in the student’s vehicle and called police. The student was cited and later released to his parents. Police say the student's pipe is used for smoking marijuana.
