Crime Time: Drug Incidents, Thousands in Tools Stolen
A roundup of the latest from the Shorewood police reports.
A 25-year-old Grafton woman was cited for possession of drug paraphernalia and failure to obey a traffic signal after she was stopped for running a red light at the intersection of East Capitol Drive and North Oakland Avenue on Jan. 3. Police found a glass pipe in the vehicle.
On Friday, police stopped a 32-year-old Whitefish Bay woman on the 4100 block of North Stowell Avenue for driving with an expired registration. After police smelled marijuana, a search of the vehicle found 1.5 grams of marijuana, two glass pipes and a digital scale. Citations for possession of a controlled substance, drug paraphernalia, not wearing a seat belt and operating without insurance were issued.

- A Shorewood man reported $10,000 in tools stolen Thursday from a storage area in an underground parking garage on the 700 block of East Glendale Avenue. Several toolboxes were taken from the unlocked area and included Craftsman and Snap-on tools.
- The rear Wisconsin license plate was stolen off Jan. 1 off a 1997 BMW on the 2500 block of East Stratford Court.
