Saturday Morning Rampage Results in At Least $2,100 in Damage to Several Cars

Police say tools were used to strike and destroy the windshields of three cars, a fieldstone was thrown through a rear windshield on another car and white planter thrown at the passenger-side door of another car. Nothing was reported stolen from any cars.

Police say a rampage of sorts early Saturday morning left several cars damaged and an alleyway trashed near North Wilson Drive and North Alpine Avenue.

In total, five cars were damaged sometime between 2 and 4 a.m.

Police tallied the damage to be at least $2,100.Β 

Several garage cans were observed toppled over in alleyways in the area, as well, after police responded around 3:30 a.m. to a report of loud bangs in the neighborhood. Police didn't find the damaged cars until later that morning.

Police have no suspects and nothing was reported stolen from the vehicles.
