Recent Burglary Brings Tally to 5 in 8 Days

Shorewood police are alerting residents to lock doors and don't hesitate to call if suspicious activity is observed.

Shorewood police are again alerting residents to lock up their homes after receiving a report of another burglary β€” the fifth in just over a week.

All of the burglaries have occurred at unlocked homes during early morning hours, with wallets, purses, for cash and credit cards, and small electronic items taken.

Along with Shorewood, homes on Milwaukee's east side, Fox Point and Whitefish Bay have been targeted in burglaries.
