3 Car Break-ins Reported Last Week

Among the illegal entries to cars was an incident on North Summit Avenue where $1,400 in clothing and a $900 computer were stolen.

Three illegal entries to cars were reported to police last week. 

Among the break-ins was an entry to an unlocked car parked in the 2500 block of North Menlo Boulevard on Thursday. The car was parked in an unlocked garage at the time of the entry, but nothing was reported stolen.

Clothing valued at $1,400 and a $900 computer were reported stolen from another car, which was parked in the 3500 block of North Summit Avenue. The illegal entry and theft occurred sometime between 4 p.m. on Dec. 4 and 4 p.m. on Wednesday.

And, an unlocked car parked in the 4100 North Prospect Avenue was entered overnight on Dec. 3; a garage door opener was taken.
