Obituary: Peter Edwin 'Big Pete' Veldboom

Peter Edwin "Big Pete" Veldboom passed away unexpectedly on Friday at the age of 46.
Before Onstar, there was Veldboom...just a call away for those in need of direction. He will continue to be one call away, but for now, his presence will be in our hearts.
Veldboom was born on March 11, 1967 and is a Shorewood High School alumnus.

He is survived by his mother Mary Bamberger Hunter, Stepmother Janet Veldboom, Grandmother Adele Bamberger, his siblings Todd, Bruce, Julie, Kim, Vicki, Mark, Pamela and their families as well as numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, nephews, nieces, and his trusted Golden Retriever, Dutch. Veldboom was preceded in death by his father Wesley Allen Veldboom in 1999. Veldboom was a loving godfather to Brian "Boomer" Jordan, Miles "Moose" Metz, Robyn Schneider, Thomas "T-Dog" Hirthe and much loved friend of many.
A Visitation will be held on Wednesday from 2 to 5 p.m. at Feerick Funeral Home, with a memorial service beginning at 5 p.m. THE "Celebration of Big Pete's Life" will follow the memorial service at O'Donoghue's Irish Pub, 13225 Watertown Plank Road, Elm Grove, WI where the sounds of Springsteen, Buffett, The Bodeans, Semi-Twang, (and Springsteen) are sure to be heard well into the night.
