Mary Elizabeth Prentice passed away Tuesday at the age of 90.
She was a long-time member of Kenwood United Methodist Church, United Methodist Women, KYM Club, and Shorewood Women’s Club.

Preceded in death by her husband, George R. Prentice, parents, and brothers Lawrence, Allen, and John. Beloved mother of Charles (Jane) and Allen (Sue) Prentice and Roselyn (Tom ) Pieper. Gentle grandmother of Natalie, Laura (Robert Dodd), Carrie, Bradley and Amy Prentice, Joanna (Carlos) Leon, David and Daniel Pieper. Proud great-grandmother of Ainsley Jane and Connor Dodd. Dearly loved sister of Elva Jefferson and Paul H. (Velma) Cuba and sister-in-law of Evelyn Hicken Cuba, Carrie E. Prentice, Frieda Boyd Prentice, and Mary Lea Ware Prentice. Lovingly remembered by many nieces, nephews, and friends.
A memorial service will be held at Kenwood United Methodist Church, 2319 E. Kenwood Blvd., Milwaukee, WI, on Saturday at 1 p.m. In lieu of flowers, memorials to Kenwood United Methodist Church or the charity of your choice would be appreciated. Burial at Hills Grove Cemetery, Tennessee, IL.
