June E. Boese died Sunday at the age of 89.
Boese, who was an Oconomowoc and most recently Mequon resident and former longtime resident of Shorewood, found peace surrounded by her loving family.
She was born December 3, 1922, daughter of Ellis and Helen Herbon. Preceded in death by her loving husband Martin. Proud mother of Dennis (Delia) Boese, Bonnie (Terri) Gaschk and Cindy Boese-Shaffer. Cherished Grandmother of Ryan (Meg) Boese, Justin (Michele) Boese, Kevin (Sherry) Boese, Nathan Boese, Brendan Boese, Tyler (Melody) Hicks, Chad Hicks, Haley Shaffer, Emily Shaffer and Marty Shaffer. Loving great-grandmother of Roy and Irene Boese, Calvin and Cooper Boese, Landry and Blake Boese and Parker Hicks. Dear sister of Ellis Herbon, Jr. Further survived by other relatives and friends.

Visitation will be held on Friday from 10 to 11 a.m. in the Chapel of the Chimes at Wisconsin Memorial Park, 13235 W. Capital Dr. in Brookfield. A service will follow at 11 a.m. Memorials to Franciscan Peacemakers, 128 W. Burleigh, Milwaukee WI 53212.
