Frances Hutchinson (nee Boedeker) Entered Eternal Life on August 18, 2013 at the age of 93.
Resident of Milwaukee Catholic Home, former longtime resident of Shorewood. Loving wife for 63 years of the late Thomas D. Hutchinson. Survived by her children; Ruth, Tom, John and Lynn (Joe Nadolski) Hutchinson; grandchildren Suzanne, Nik and Emily; great grandchildren Alyssa and Shawn; and her sister-in-law Marion Boedeker.
Franny was preceded in death by her parents, Albert and Ruth (nee Sieker) Boedeker and her brother Freddie Boedeker. Further survived by other relatives and good friends. Franny was born February 1, 1920 in Sheboygan, WI.
She graduated from Oshkosh State Teachers College where she met her husband Tom. Fran and Tom were married in 1942 at Fort Sill in Lawton, OK. Upon leaving Oklahoma and after a few short stops, Shorewood, WI became their home.
Fran retired from St. Robert’s Elementary School in 1981, ending a long and happy teaching career. It was common for former students to keep in touch throughout Franny’s retirement years.
