Jewish Kids Club is hosting “Kids in the Kitchen: Experience Shabbat!” on Wednesday, October 9th at 4:00pm at Chabad of the East Side, 3030 E Kenwood Blvd. All kids ages 5-11 are invited to attend.
Kids in the Kitchen is a unique culinary experience with a Jewish twist that offers a cooking experience in a fun-filled environment that encourages discovery and creativity – appropriate for both novices and experienced young chefs.
Roll up your sleeves and let’s get to work. Develop those budding culinary skills as we mix, measure, and bake gourmet Shabbat fare. Get a true taste of Shabbat as we learn and experience the beauty of this special day.

After class, the children will take home their creations along with their new recipes. Participants will gain kitchen skills that will enable them to replicate the recipes at home to share with their families and friends.
Kids in the Kitchen is part of Jewish Kids Club, an innovative and unique program that offers your children an opportunity to explore their Jewish heritage in a warm and safe environment. Complete with out-of-the-box activities and hands-on learning experiences. Our mission is to instill Jewish pride and excitement beyond what kids can get elsewhere. The Jewish Kids Club meets monthly for holiday and pre-holiday programs from 4:00 p.m.to 5:30 p.m. Register for individual classes ($5 per child) or become a member, which includes tuition for all classes and a free club t-shirt.
