Joliet Chamber to Honor Cornerstone Services

The Joliet Chamber of Commerce is proud to announce that it will be honoring Cornerstone Services, Inc. as its recipient of the 2014 "Salute to Accomplishment" award.  Cornerstone Services, Inc. has served the Joliet community for 45 years.  Since 1969, Cornerstone Services has been an advocate for people with disabilities in Joliet and the greater Will County area.   The agency is a recognized leader in providing the support necessary for individuals (nearly 1,000) with disabilities to live and work in the community.

Cornerstone Services will be honored on the night of Thursday, March 20th with a dinner at the Patrick C. Haley Mansion.  The Keynote Address, “Living Life with Support from Cornerstone Services, Inc.: Experiencing the Continual Validation of Unconditional Positive Regard”, will be given by Robert Talkie, Cornerstone Alumnus, Community Liaison Peer Advocate, Aetna Better Health of Illinois.

The evening will begin with a cocktail hour at 5:00 p.m. at the Patrick C. Haley Mansion, 17 S. Center Street, Joliet, IL  60435.  Dinner and program will commence at 6:00 p.m.
