Community Corner

Relay For Life of Milwaukee

At Relay, teams of 10 to 15 people camp out at a local high school, park, or fairground and take turns walking or running around a track or path. Because cancer never sleeps, Relays are overnight events up to 24 hours in length. Relayers do not have to walk all night, but each team is asked to have a representative on the track at all times during the event. During the event there are games, activities, food and music.

There are many ways to participate in Relay.  The first step is to find an event in your community and decide how you want to be involved.  You can form a team, join a team, raise money, join the planning committee, or volunteer to help where needed. For more information contact your committee members  or visit our website at relayforlife.org/milwaukeewi
