UEDA 12TH ANNUAL COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT SUMMIT

On Thursday, October 31, 2013 the Urban Economic
Development Association of Wisconsin (UEDA), in partnership with the
City of Milwaukee, will host its 12th annual Community Development
Summit “Show Me the Money: A Pathway to Accessing Business Capital.”
The event will be held at the Italian Conference Center, located at
631 E. Chicago Street in Milwaukee from 8 a.m. to 1:00 p.m.

The summit will engage a broad range of attendees from private
industry, government, entrepreneurs, small businesses, lending
institutions, investors, business service providers and other
community partners in purposeful dialogue and interchange that will
spur business growth and economic development.

The Summit will provide attendees with the opportunity to obtain
information and resources that have a direct impact on their
“start-up” or existing business, including access to capital,
marketing and non-traditional financing – all of which are pertinent
to developing and operating a successful business.  The event will
also feature a discussion on the small business financing continuum,
dialogue between small business owners and resource providers and
networking sessions designed to further the important connections
needed to launch, grow and sustain a business.

Registration for the event, including meals, is $35.00 for non-UEDA
members and $25.00 for current UEDA members. For more information or
to register for the event, visit www.UEDAWI.org, call UEDA at
414-562-9904 or mail a check (payable to UEDA) and contact information
to: UEDA, 2212 N. MLK Drive, Milwaukee, WI 53212.
