Join Barbi Powers, a Manhattan yogi and dancer, for an alignment-based Vinyasa practice with emphasis and instruction on inversions. This workshop will consist of a warm-up, sun salutations, standing poses, instruction on headstand, handstand and forearm postures plus variations, back bending and restorative poses to close. You will learn how to properly and safely build your own inversion practice and come into variations regardless of your experience and level. Gain a different perspective on your mat and for the New Year with this practical, fun and invigorating workshop.
