celebrates its alumni at an annual picnic and community celebration the

second Saturday in July.

11-6: Front Lawn of SHS: Picnic in the

tent with Alumni and Community! Rain or Shine!

Three Lions Pub burgers and veggie curry, fresh tap (and bottles) beer selection from

Lakefront Brewery (soda, water and wine available), Greyhound gear, bands, tours, raffle, silent auction, swim

meet, bowling, and Sock Hop!

11-6 Raffle and Silent Auction on the Front Lawn - Raffle tickets $2, 3 for $5, or $20 arms length! Great gifts featured in different baskets!

11-1 p.m. Shorewood Alumni and Swim Club Swim

Meet at the VHE Pool on Campus


Continue the legacy! All Are Welcome to Come swim in the meet

($25 free cap - register online or email pauldorisdix@gmail.com) to support the

purchase of new equipment! The Shorewood Swim Club is swimming like mad to

raise the needed $60,000 for timing pads, starting blocks, and a scoreboard to

record the feats of record-setting swimmers. Donations welcome!

11-2 Free: Customize your Gear (Greyhounds and Community Gear) with stenciled painted letters and numbers on the back! Our team of 2013 AP Artists will get you picnicking in style.

11-6pm Live Music and Entertainment

  • 11-12: Orchestra and other Entertainment,

    Meet Superintendent Marty Lexmond.
  • 1-3 Jason Braun, Class of 1988
  • 3-4:30 Dave Miller Band, Class of 1979
  • 4:30-5:15 Dukster, Class of 2013
  • 5:15-6:00 Phantom, School Board Member Colin Plese

 Tours (times subject to change): $5 All Day Pass (included in package)

  • 12:00 p.m. Entire school campus
  • 1:00 p.m. Copperdome/Roof - great photo opportunity!
  • 2:00 p.m. Theater Building
  • 3:00 p.m. Pool/Solar Panels and other campus green efforts (Tunnel Tour not available this year due to construction).

6-7 p.m. Free Book and Band Jam, Youth Center. Join author

Peter Roller, PhD, and Freddy Bliffert in the Youth Center where they’ll hold a

Book Talk about Roller’s book: Milwaukee Garage Bands. See old photos from the

Youth Center concerts held in the Youth Center in the 60s. Reminisce about the

great bands we ponied, bumped, and boogied to back in the day!  


6-8 p.m. Free Bowling! Come and bowl in

the state's ONLY public school bowling alley! Socks available. 

7:30-9:30 p.m. Family Community Dance -- a Real Sock Hop in the Youth

Center! All Ages can come and Dance to music from '66 alumnus

Freddy Bliffert and the Greyhounds in the Youth Center. Suggested donation of $5 Goes towards annual Alumni Scholarship! Big pretzels from Three Lions, Lakefront Brewery beverages, Fresca, RC Cola and Dinks available!
