Explore Art at Kohl's Art Generation Family Sundays: Creative Creatures

On Sunday, March 16, from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m., the Milwaukee Art Museum welcomes the public to participate in Kohl's Art Generation Family Sundays: Creative Creatures.

In celebration of the Uncommon Folk: Traditions in American Art exhibition, children and families are invited to make animal-themed creations and quilt-inspired art. Families can also explore the exhibition with a hands-on Family Guide, taking them on a whimsical tour of fish decoys, walking sticks, carvings and more. Demonstrating movements and folk music, the Milwaukee Ballet and local musicians Fox & Branch will put on special performances during this fun-filled day.

While at the Museum, kids and families can stop into the Kohl's Education Center -- a fun, interactive space designed to give kids an appreciation for art through participation in exciting, creative, hands-on projects. Part of the Kohl's Art Generation program, this space is made possible through $6.3 million from Kohl's Cares to the Milwaukee Art Museum.

Kohl's Art Generation Family Sundays events are free with Museum admission. Children ages 12 and under always get into the Museum for free!
