On Tuesday, November 13, 2012, the Shorewood Intermediate and High School Bands will present their first concert of the school year, at 7:00 P.M., in the Shorewood High School Auditorium, 1701 East Capitol Drive. The program, which includes the SIS 8th Grade Band and the SHS Concert Band and Wind Ensemble, will feature such works as Beethoven’s Egmont Overture; Barnum and Bailey’s Favorite, by Karl King; a collection of music by Georg Frederic Handel; music from Harry Potter, and the symphonic poem that won the 1878 National Band Contest, in Naples, Italy, Universal Judgment.
Admission to all School District of Shorewood Band concerts is free.
