Cream City Communicators Annual Backwards Event

Cream City's special annual event features a complete Toastmaster meeting run backwards. A Gniteem Sdrawkcab? Absolutely! This fun teaching and leadership event reinforces valuable leadership skills including effective organization and planning, time management . . . plus its a whole lot of fun!

In an ordinary meeting we give our members and guests opportunities to practice their presentation skills . . . whether you need them to practice for a work presentation, volunteer activity, or simply to gain confidence, speaking in front of a group of people helps people come out of their shell . . . or for the advanced, gives them the feedback they need to excel. Now just imagine running a meeting backwards . . . giving feedback BEFORE the speaker has spoken. Critical thinking, motivation, and team building skills are a must. And these leadership skills will all be showcased in this upcoming event.

Let's not forget one of the most important leadership skills - LISTENING! Come as a visitor and participate in Table Topics, our impromptu speaking exercise. Oh wait, you answer before you're asked a question . . . hope you listen to all the clues before you come forward!
