Shorewood Homes Are the Most Expensive in Wisconsin

A survey conducted by the Real Estate broker, Coldwell Banker, concluded the average four-bedroom, two bathroom Shorewood home runs for more than $430,000.

Shorewood has the most expensive housing market in Wisconsin for a four bedroom, two bathroom home, according to a study released Wednesday by Coldwell Banker Real Estate.

The survey said the average price a four bedroom, two bathroom home in Shorewood is $436,321. The average home in Wisconsin was listed for $214,784 according to the study.

Berlin was the least expensive at $85,391, a more than $350,000 difference from Shorewood. The national average is $293,251, the study says.

Coldwell does a yearly Home Listing Report (HLR), a snapshot survey of listing prices for four-bedroom, two bathroom properties listed on coldwellbanker.com between September 2010 and March 2011. The survey reviewed 53 real estate markets in Wisconsin
