Easter Egg Hunts In and Around Shorewood

Easter is almost here, and that means that, despite the chill, area organizations are getting ready for Easter egg hunts.

Shorewood Men's Club Easter Egg Hunt

More than 10,000 Easter eggs will coat Hubbard Park on March 30 as theShorewood Men's Club puts on its annual hunt for the candy-and toy-filled eggs. The hunt gets under way at 9 a.m. sharp (get there even a few minutes late, and you'll likely miss the hunt) in the park located at 3565 N. Morris Blvd., and includes a visit from the Easter Bunny.

There are areas for newborns to 3-year-olds, 4-to 6-year-old children and 7 and up. Pancake breakfast following the hunt begins at 9:30 a.m.; reservations are recommended by calling (414) 332-4207.

Hunt begins at 11 a.m. Saturday, March 23, at Memorial Lutheran Church, 7701 N. Green Bay Ave., Glendale. Egg hunt is inside, and the area will be divided into two groups. Games, a raffle and refreshments. All children welcome.

Milwaukee

North Point Lighthouse Easter Egg Hunt

10:15 a.m. Saturday, March 23 at the lighthouse, 2650 N. Wahl Ave. Pre-registration required. Event includes Easter basket making, free refreshments, a chance to meet the Easter Bunny, and to climb the lighthouse tower.
