Easter Egg Hunt Set for Saturday in Hubbard Park

The Shorewood Men's Club annual event kicks off at 9 a.m., with 11,000 candy-and toy-filled eggs and an appearance from the Easter Bunny.

About 11,000 Easter eggs will coat on Saturday as the Shorewood’s Men Club puts on its annual hunt for the candy-and toy-filled treats.

The hunt gets under way at 9 a.m. in the park located at 3565 N. Morris Blvd. with an appearance from the Easter Bunny. The club is also offering a pancake breakfast following the egg hunt at 9:30 a.m. Visit the club’s website for more details.

The club says 4,000 of the eggs contain toys and 7,000 were recycled from last year and have been stuffed with candy. About 30 Men's Club members volunteered to help the stuff the eggs.
