Shorewood will soon have another place to get its fill of sweet and savory with a new cupcake shop set to open this summer.
Ashley Weber plans to open Miss Cupcake at 3801 N. Oakland Ave. within the first two weeks of June, offering baked goods including cakes, brownies, cookies, pies, breads, confections, candy and of course cupcakes, made from high-quality ingredients.
The shop will also offer gluten-free, vegan and sugar-free items, and catering.
"I felt like Shorewood was just a good fit," she said.
The storefront previously housed a coffee and sandwich shop.
