Shorewood Walgreens Obtains License to Sell Beer

The Village Board approved a Class A beer only license for the retail store at 4081 N. Oakland Ave. Tuesday night. The store plans to offer beer in its cold cases and on shelves.

Your local will soon stock beer and wine coolers after receiving village approval via a liquor license.

Upon its move, across East Kenmore Place, into the , Walgreens will be required to go in front of the board again and have the license approved.

Got to find some way to compete w/ the new Metro Market that will replace the current Pick N Save across the street. The Mequon Metro has an array of liquor offerings and I'm sure the one in Shorewood will as well which will be much more than what the current Pick N Save offers.
