New Art Exhibit Opening Saturday in Anaba Tea Room

Madison artist Sandra Peterson will open her new art exhibition "Oil on Tea Bag & Oil on Canvas" Saturday night at 5, and run until July 1.

Madison artist Sandra Peterson will open her new art exhibition “Oil on Tea Bag & Oil on Canvas” Saturday night at 5 at Shorewood’s Anaba Tea Room, 2107 E. Capitol Dr.

Peterson is interested in a background that interposes with foreground simulating that we, somehow, are all interconnected on many levels and themes in our lives and in our world.

She asks if “mark making” is the language of painting in its basic form, how can the most constructive mark come from a place of truthfulness from within?  It is this question that directs her through her painting.
