Falbo Bros Pizzeria Settles Into New Shorewood Location

Taking the pizza reins from Salvatore's, owners Ted and Sam Speerschneider opened the doors a week ago and say business has been steady.

Some minor façade alterations, quick interior adjustments and Falbo Bros. Pizzeria was up and running.

The brand new Shorewood pizzeria opened its doors a week ago at 2213 E. Capitol Dr. Ted Speerschneider, who co-owns the business with his brother Sam, said business has been steady.

"We had a great first weekend," he said.

Falbo serves up thin, deep-dish and Chicago-style stuffed crust pizza, salads, flatbread sandwiches, pasta and deserts and beer and wine.

The Madison-based pizza chain has six restaurants in the state, five in Iowa and one in Colorado. Ted, who is from Whitefish Bay, has owned a franchised Falbo Bros. in Middleton, Wis for eight years.

The Speerschneiders took the restaurant over from Salvatore’s who filled in Spring of last year after Gianelli's pizza went out of business.
