Beer and Lip Balm? Beer Company Pairs Its Brews with Chap Stick
A local microbrewer has partnered with an Eau Claire company to pair its beer with lip balm, offering a little twist on its brews.
Pairing a stick of lip balm with beer isn’t common practice at most local taverns, but one local brewer is now offering its brews with a little twist.
Big Bay Brewing has partnered with Intaca, an Eau Claire-based lip balm manufacturer, to offer $2 sticks in its Shorewood tasting room, 4517 N. Oakland Ave., Tap Milwaukee reports.
Match the microbrewer's Long Weekend beer, an India Pale Ale, with Mint Citrus chap stick, or Boatilla, an amber ale, with Vanilla lip balm, for a unique flavor combination, Big Bay retail manager Kaare Olsen told Tap.
