Shorewood Patch Office Hours

In the era of electronic communication, the art of face-to-face communication is sometimes lost.

As a web-based news source, we utilize Facebook and Twitter quite a bit.

However, even though I spend most of my work days sipping coffee and fraternizing with the locals at Alterra or Stone Creek, I felt it was time to make myself available in person on a regular basis.

So, from 3 to 5 p.m. on Friday I will be holding "office hours" in one of the study rooms at the Shorewood Public Library. If the room is full we will definitely find a place to chat.

I hope Patch readers, and those new to Patch, will stop by and let me know how I am doing serving the community. Got comments, complaints or kudos? I want to hear them. Have a big story for me? I want to hear about that too.

This is your chance to let me know what’s important to you.

Additionally, if you are a business owner or a person with a strong story to tell, I'll guide you through the tools available on Patch to help expand your presence on the web for free. I'll show you how to beef up your directory listing with us, create a Facebook business page, or set you up as a blogger so you can tell your own story about your life or organization you represent.Β

Whether it's one person or 20, the goal is to work collaboratively with you as readers to make sure I can deliver the best content and information on Shorewood Patch.

If you have any questions, please give me a call anytime at (414) 217-6748, or shoot me an email at adam.mccoy@patch.com. Otherwise, tell a friend and I hope to see you out at the library one of these upcoming Thursdays.
