School Fees in the Shorewood School District

As parents prepare for another school year, here is a breakdown of the fees that need to be paid to the Shorewood School District.

The payments can be made in two installments. The first installment is due at registration in August, and the second installment is due in February. These are the registration dates for each school in the Shorewood School District. 

If for any reason families are unable to pay for the school fees, they can request a school fee reduction request at registration or from each school's main office.

Fees for Shorewood High School
SHS Instructional Materials & Textbook Fee: $145
Senior Graduation Fee: $15.00 (Covers cost of diploma) 
Grade 9 Explore Testing Fee: $8.50
Grade 10 PLAN Testing Fee: $11.25
Grade 11 PSAT Testing Fee: $14.00 
Club Fee (one time fee for one or more clubs per year): $60
Lock Fee- Hall: $5.00
Lock Fee- Gym: $5.00

There are also specific fees that vary from class to class or program to program. For example, there are usually fees associated with AP classes that might not be applicable to "regular" classes.

SIS Instructional Materials Fee: $130
Lock Fee: $5.00
Planner Fee: $5.00 
Athletic Fee: $50 per sport, capped at $100
Activity/Club Fee: $30 per activity, capped at $60

Certain courses and programs may have additional fees associated with them.

K4 & K5 Instructional Materials Fee: $80
Grades 1-6 Instructional Materials Fee: $125
Grade 6 ACE Fee: $9.00

Fees for Lake Bluff Elementary School
K4 & K5 Instructional Materials Fee: $80
Grades 1-6 Instructional Materials Fee: $125.00
