Wisconsin Conservatory of Music: 18th Annual High School Jazz Camp

Ten days of straight-ahead jazz designed for serious players. Instrumentalists perform in small combos and participate in special performances. Learn about improvisation, jazz history and more. During the second week, Grammy award winning jazz trumpet great Brian Lynch will join us. Merit scholarships and financial aid are available; be sure to inquire at the placement hearing.

Instructors: Mark Davis - camp coordinator, piano; Eric Jacobson - trumpet; Eric Schoor - saxophone; Paul Silbergleit - guitar; Jeff Hamann - bass; David Bayles - percussion.
Experience: Placement hearing required. Select one piece demonstrating technical ability and jazz knowledge. Accompaniment allowed but not provided. Please call Student Services at 414/276-5760 to schedule a time.
Placement Hearings: May 5, starting at 9:00am.
