University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee architecture students transformed East Capitol Drive parking stalls into art exhibits based on historical sites in Shorewood.

Six parking spots along East Capitol Drive were transformed into art exhibits Friday when Shorewood launched PARK(ing) Days.

The , featured original works from University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee architecture students.

PARK(ing) Day, an annual, worldwide event, invited students to transform metered parking spots into public art exhibits. Shorewood joined 140 cities in 21 countries on six continents in celebration of art.
