Steins Bringing Outdoor Garden Center to Shorewood

You won't have to travel far for your gardening needs this spring, as Stein Gardens & Gifts has set its sights on opening an outdoor seasonal garden center.

You won't have to travel far for your gardening needs this spring, as Stein Gardens & Gifts has set its sights on opening an outdoor seasonal garden center at the former Riverbrook Restaurant site.

The center will offer plants, flowers, herbs and small garden tools in a small greenhouse at 1111 E. Capitol Dr. It is expected to open in late April, sunup to sundown, and close July 15.

The village's Plan Commission approved a conditional use permit for the seasonal garden center Tuesday night.
