Possibly Armed Man Grabs Cash during Dry Cleaner Robbery

An employee at One-Hour Martinizing says a man implied he was carrying a firearm and told her, "It's the money or your life."

Police are investigating an apparent armed robbery at Martinizing Dry Cleaners Tuesday evening.

An employee told police around 6:48 p.m. a man entered through an unlocked rear door to the dry cleaner at 3596 N. Oakland Ave. She saw him enter the business; run behind her with his hand in his pocket — implying he had a firearm — and demanded cash, according to the report.

“It’s the money or your life,” the suspect told the employee, according to the police report.
