played host to the 40th annual Shorewood Men's Club Chicken BBQ, Saturday.

People from all over Milwaukee attended the event which included live music by the Shorewood Concert Band, ice cream, drinks and of course barbecue chicken.

Shorewood Men's Club member Michael Maher said people come from all over to attend the yearly event. The club uses it as a fundraiser for the village, but Maher said it is so much more than that.

"It's such a tradition," Maher said. "It's a community event."
