Milwaukee sports mascots crashed the Shorewood Library's annual Summer Celebration event Wednesday.

Air Bango, Bernie Brewer, Roscoe and Brad Beach battled in Shorewood, as part of the library's yearly thanks to village residents from their support.

The event wasn't limited to battles for mascot supremacy however, as there were also trolley rides of Shorewood historical landmarks, a Culver’s ice cream sundae bar, a Milwaukee County Sheriff horse-mounted unit, music and face painting.
