Easter Egg Hunts, Activities and Services in Shorewood

Here is a list of Easter events happening in Shorewood this year.

Egg Hunts, Easter Bunny, Fish Fry

Easter Egg Hunt and other activities

Friends of Boerner Botanical Gardens invites families and friends to Easter at Boerner, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Easter Sunday at Boerner Botanical Gardens, 9400 Boerner Drive. Children will be able to meet the Easter Bunny up close and personal, make some festive holiday crafts, and even get a balloon animal from Miss Sparkle the Clown. Event fee is $6 per child. Shorewood Men's Club puts on its annual hunt for the candy-and toy-filled eggs at 9 a.m. Saturday (get there even a few minutes late, and you'll likely miss the hunt) at Hubbard Park, 3565 N. Morris Blvd., and includes a visit from the Easter Bunny. There are areas for newborns to 3-year-olds, 4-to 6-year-old children and 7 and up. Pancake breakfast following the hunt begins at 9:30 a.m.; reservations are recommended by calling (414) 332-4207.

Maundy Thursday Services

North Shore Presbytarian Church, 4048 N. Bartlett Ave., 6 p.m. Join us for a traditional Seder observance. Worship is incorporated into this symbolic meal. Call the church office at 414-332-8130 for details and to sign-up.

St. Roberts Parish service being held at Holy Family Church, 4825 N. Wildwood Ave., Whitefish Bay.

Kingo Lutheran, 1225 E. Olive St., 6:30 p.m. worship with communion, foot washing and stripping of the altar.

Good Friday Services

North Shore Presbytarian Church, 4048 N. Bartlett Ave., The Chapel will be open for those wishing a quiet time of prayer and reflection.

St. Roberts Parish, 2214 E Capitol Dr, 1:30 p.m.

Kingo Lutheran, 1225 E. Olive St., 6:30 p.m. tenebrae service.

Easter Services

North Shore Presbytarian Church, 4048 N. Bartlett Ave.: 7 a.m. Easter Morning Sunrise Service will be held at Atwater Park, in Shorewood on Lake Drive at Capital at  (If the weather is bad we will gather in the Chapel at NSPC.) As the sun rises over Lake Michigan, join us in celebrating the Risen Christ. An informal coffee and continental breakfast will be available in the Parlor following the service. Our Celebration of the Resurrection will continue with Worship in the Sanctuary at 10:30 a.m.

St. Roberts Parish, 2214 E Capitol Dr, vigil mass 8 p.m. Saturday; 8:30 and 11 a.m. Sunday.

Kingo Lutheran, 1225 E. Olive St., sunrise service at 6:30 a.m., and 10 a.m. festival worship.

  • Serving from 7:30 to 9:30 a.m. Easter morning. Plan to stay following the Sunrise Service or come to church an hour before the Festival Service to enjoy a delicious breakfast with Kingo members and guests.
