Easter Egg Hunt Set for March 30 in Hubbard Park

The Shorewood Men's Club annual event kicks off at 9 a.m., with 10,000 candy-and toy-filled eggs and an appearance from the Easter Bunny.

More than 10,000 Easter eggs will coat Hubbard Park on March 30 as the Shorewood Men's Club puts on its annual hunt for the candy-and toy-filled eggs.

The hunt gets under way at 9 a.m. sharp (get there even a few minutes late, and you'll likely miss the hunt) in the park located at 3565 N. Morris Blvd. with an appearance from the Easter Bunny.

There are areas for newborns to 3-year-olds, 4-to 6-year-old children and 7 and up.

The club is also offering a pancake breakfast following the egg hunt at 9:30 a.m. Make reservations early as seats for the breakfast fill quickly. Visit the club’s website for more details.

The Men's Club will purchase 4,000 filled eggs, leaving members to fill the roughly 6,000 remaining eggs, recycled from last year, with thousands pieces of candy.
