Games, food and a chance to win $10,000 this weekend as St. Robert opens its annual for the 40th time.

For the 40th time, music will reverberate the air and rides, games, food and drinks, and a rummage sale occupy the grounds at St. Robert as the parish puts on its annual fair this weekend.

There won't be any major changes to the fair's festivities β€” which run noon to 10 p.m. Saturday and 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. Sunday at 2214 E. Capitol Dr. β€” from last year, fair co-chair Merridth Frediani said.

Take in the St. Bob-e-que on Saturday and the chicken dinner Sunday night. The fair will also offer food ranging from Mexican to Italian to seafood to roasted corn; lemonade, soda, beer and margaritas. Β
