Pilot Club Made Blankets for Kids at Children's Hospital

On December 13, 2013, Pilot Club of Milwaukee and Milwaukee Catholic Home joined forces to donate some warmth to children in Children's Hospital of Wisconsin. Pilot members made and delivered 48 fleece blankets to the Epilepsy Monitoring Unit (EMU) and 75 tiny hats that had been made by a Milwaukee Catholic Home volunteer, Sue Erdman, to the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit.   The EMU at Children’s is the largest and most advanced epilepsy monitoring unit in the region.  Children being cared for in these units could spend weeks in the hospital.

Pilot Club of Milwaukee (a service club) is the only Pilot Club in Wisconsin.  Throughout the world, there are about 400 Pilot Clubs.  Their vision is to achieve universal awareness and prevention of Brain-related Disorders and Disabilities.
