FOUND DOG: Gold-Colored Female Pup Needs Loving Home

Last week, a relatively young (my estimate is between 18 and 30 months of age), female, gold-colored dog appeared outside of my employer’s business and started hanging around the parking lot.

She appeared very thin, and looked to be hungry. Knowing full-well that in doing so I’d ensure that she wouldn’t be leaving anytime soon, my heart compelled me to run to the store and buy some dog food so at least she wouldn’t be hungry.

Well, she stuck around. She remained in the whereabouts of the parking lot of our medical supply store for four days, eating what food we’d give her without allowing us to get close enough to catch her.

Eventually, I was able to catch her, and took her home with me as she was barking at customers and scaring them, and because I didn’t want to turn her over to animal control because they’d almost certainly kill her had I done so.

Anyway, if this is your dog, or if you or someone you know is willing to take her in and welcome her into a loving home, please contact me using the contact form on my personal website at PeterEgan.org.

I earn a very modest living, and while I am more than happy to care for the dog until I can find her a good, loving home, it is small and she (the dog) would probably be much happier living with a family that has a larger residence than my own and a backyard that she can stretch her legs in.
